With the much anticipated release of Final Fantasy VII Remake coming in March- ahem April, excuse me- it got me thinking. Yes, I know thinking is a very dangerous pass time, but hear me out, okay?
What great memories don’t we have of gaming? Where were you in your life when you defeated Boss X, or finally nabbed Weapon Z?
Well I’m sure any gamer can relate to this. This is the reason why I’ve decided to make 2020 the year I play every Final Fantasy game at least once! Well, the goal is to finish all the main series titles, as well as any spin offs I can manage. To cap it all off, I would like to invite everyone to join me in this experience.
Well with fifteen games to get through, and trying to juggle both a personal and professional life, this is going to be one the biggest projects I have undertaken in my 26 years on this Earth. Well we all need goals, and I think it’s high time I start crossing some items off my bucket list. Sorry, Roman Colosseum, guess we’ll have to see you another time.
A little thing to bear in mind, I have not played every game in the series. In fact I’ve only been through half the numbered installments. As such, I’m not going to limit myself by going in strict numbered order. I’m going to start with the games I already have and start saving, because unfortunately gaming is a pretty expensive hobby these days.
